How To Determine The Day Of Conception?

Yes I am unsure of why the dr I seen is telling me I am wrong on my last period date . Since I ve had my last child which is now a year old I ve been monitoring my periods every month . Now my exact start date of my lmp was august 31,2016 she is telling me that s not when my period started . Because I am just now 7 weeks pregnant. I know my body very well which the ONLY day I had sex since my last period was September 14,2016 I also had light bleeding the 23 of September. She is arguing telling me I am wrong .

I can understand your situation, there is nothing to worry about it.

As per the first day (August 31, 2016) of your last menstrual period (LMP),
the probable date of ovulation (release of egg) appears to be September 14, 2016, the possible dates of conception being September 10 to September 18, 2016 and the due date would be approximately June 7, 2017.

Remember these calculations are based on an average 28 days regular cycle.

Hope this has clear your doubts regarding the duration of pregnancy which however can be more accurately confirmed by an abdominal ultrasound.
