How To Detox Vicodin And Percocet From System During Pregnancy?
I am 38 weeks pregnant and I am going in to be induced on Wednesday to have my first son. I have been taking pain medication-Vicodin and occasionally Percocet during the entire pregnancy and have taken several today. I am being prescribed subutech by a high risk obstetrician as well to get off the pain pills but I have still taken pain pills occasionally since being prescribed the subutech. My question is what can I do to clean the pain pills out of mine and the babies system before he is born? Is there any type of detox that I can use? I was told that drinking 4 ounces of vinegar a day would clean my system out is this true and if so would it clean the babies system out as well.

It is really annoying that you just took anti-pain drugs without consulting your doctor. More, so, when your doctor was trying to help you from your dependence on opioid like products/ anti-pain drugs by prescribing Subutex.
Also, now you are taking the anti-pain medicines without advice of your obstetrician, thus placing yourself and your baby in a difficult situation. Also, there is no documentary evidence to suggest any protective effect of vinegar on the pregnant woman or her baby. Rather, it may have its bad effects on you and/or baby.
Of course, drinking sufficient amount of water may have some increased flushing effect on the kidneys which may aid to detox the unwanted effects of medicines to some extent only. Now, the best option for you is, that you just take the treatment strictly under guidance of your obstetrician for the well being of yourself and your baby.
