Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi I just found out yesterday I was pregnant I do not know how many weeks I am but I do know I m s heavy smoker well was as I am stopping today . Yesterday I also got the news that I was hired for a company . Unfortunately they will do a drug test . Which I know I will not pass . What can I do to clean my system without hurting my baby ? Help please . Testing is in 4 days
Most of the drugs are cleared from blood, urine and saliva within 3-4 days. These are the common samples used for testing the drugs on prospective employees. However, hair may have a window period up to 90 days, where the presence of drugs can be detected. Hence, if you do not take any drug till your test, there seem very little chances of these being detected in the test.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Satnarain Bansal, General & Family Physician
