Hi dear and thank you for being part of our virtual clinic!
From the information, you have to deal with the diagnosis:
Deep
venous thrombosis : a condition that occurs when a blood clot forms in a vein deep inside a part of the body. It mainly affects the large veins in the lower leg and thigh.
1.
Deep vein thrombosis is most common in adults over age 60. But, it can occur at any age.
2. You may experience changes in skin color (
redness), leg pain, leg swelling (edema)
3. Your doctor will give you medicine to thin your blood (called an
anticoagulant). This will keep more clots from forming or old ones from getting bigger
4. Catheter-directed
thrombolysis is a minimally invasive treatment that dissolves abnormal
blood clots in blood vessels to help improve blood flow and prevent damage to tissues and organs
5. Important tips after thrombolysis: Walk up and down the aisles of the bus, train, or airplane. If traveling by car, stop about every hour and walk around. Move your legs and flex and stretch your feet to improve blood flow in your calves. Wear loose and comfortable clothing. Drink plenty of fluids and avoid alcohol.
