How To Differentiate Between Implantation Bleeding And Menopause?

Can symptoms of implantation bleeding be similar to begining menopause? I am a healthy 38 year old mother of three who has never experienced anything but a regular heavy period since I first got my period at 12. I never had implantation bleeding with previous pregnancies.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Women who are pregnant or in perimenopause will see shifts in their menstrual cycle because of hormonal changes. A missed period is a sign of pregnancy, while irregular periods may mean the onset of menopause. It's important to remember that irregular periods could indicate another condition and a consult with your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
