How To Do A Paternity Test?

I had unprotected sex with an ex boyfriend on 25th Oct 2010, I took the morning after pill 26th Oct, I then had a period 11th Nov 2010, I then went on to have unprotected sex with my boyfriend, a week before christmas I found out I was pregnant using a clearblue test which said I was 1-2 weeks, my dating scan says im due 24th august, what are the chances that my baby is my ex boyfriends? im so worried... please help put my mind at ease...

Thanks for writing in.

If you took morning after pills after having sex with your ex boyfriend and then had normal periods in Nov then it is highly unlikely that your child is from your ex boyfriend. Please do no panic as there was at least a month gap between your events and you also had regular periods after sex with ex boyfriend. If you want to make sure then you can contact your nearest lab and get the child and suspected fathers DNA matched.
