Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi,I'm a 25 year old woman. I have a little space between my molar and premolar on the both the sides of my teeth and sometimes when just a little food gets stuck in there,it gives me so much pain.earlier I hv hd braces.i want these gap to be filled.Kindly suggest me the way.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of gaps between molar and premolar teeth after getting orthodontic treatment done which seems to be due to relapse as you must have got braces removed early before the teeth could have taken permanent space and you have not used retainers for sufficient time.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to visit orthodontist once and get it examined again as every procedure has its own drawbacks. You should use retainers for sufficient period of time and start treatment after complete examination. Use single tufted brushes for complete hygiene maintenance. There are other procedures as well such as filling gap with composite buildup and porcelain veneers.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
