Hi. I m 25 years old and over recent years have experienced bad skin. Had an acne breakout about 2 years ago. Then by trial and error, it finally went away. I ve always had clear skin. But now my skin seems to be very temperamental. I have small blackheads and whiteheads. Not noticeable but it s under my skin which causes me to squeeze wanting them gone. I m able to manage it abit but can t understand why it never goes away. How can I get clear skin for good. I m a gym instructor, so I drink enough water, I m active. I like to live as healthy as I can. I take hair, skin and nail vitamins. What can I do to have clear skin once and for all?
Acne is the complication of clogging of skin pores and breakout of skin. Sebaceous glands present in the skin secretes sebum an oily substance to maintain the moisture of the skin. When there is normal production and clearance, the skin condition is maintained properly. Several hormones control the secretion of sebum. When there is excess sebum, there may be infection due to stagnation under the skin which finally breaks out to form acne.
Several face creams can obstruct the skin pores and cause clogging of the secretion of the skin glands. Regular face wash with water and soft soap may help to have clear pores. Vitamin A or synthetic analogues of Vitamin A helps to regenerate the skin which cures the black heads. Isotretinoin is the Vitamin A prescribed commonly for acne. Visit a dermatologist for further evaluation and management.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
