Hello,

Norethisterone (Primolut N) is commonly prescribed to make changes in the menstrual date for convenience. You can start to take the pills(twice daily) 3-4 days before your menstrual date is due and can continue to take it for for 15 days. You will get your period 3-4 days after you have stopped taking the medicine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
