Consuming pain relievers without arriving at a particular diagnosis is not going to cure your problem. If I were your doctor, I would have gone for a detailed clinical examination of your abdomen followed by routine investigations like a complete blood count, blood sugar, kidney function tests, liver function tests,serum lipid profile, serum amylase and lipase, cardiac enzyme tests during the acute pain attacks, an ultrasound abdomen with an x-ray chest, and if need be a CT scan. I would plan further management on the result of my clinical examination and investigation reports.
