How To Get Rid Of Allergen Content In Blood During Pregnancy?

Hi doc, I have been suffering from serious rashes all over body for past 6 months after my pregnancy. I have seasonal allergies in my childhood but now the story is different. Test reports show the allergen content in blood is pretty high. I have been taking Montair LC for nearly 4 months but once I stop the tab the rashes repeats. Now shall I go in for Zyrtec as montair is not avlble in my present location. Pls help me out. And is it fate to just continue these medications throughout my life. :(

Hello ma'am and welcome.

Yes, zyrtec can be taken as all anti-histamines are considered safe during pregnancy. I would recommend an elaborate allergen test, which will help record all the allergens that could be causing your presentation and report their level of safe or risk.

Once the allergen(s) have been found, we can completely exclude them from your diet and your problem shiuld hopefully be solved.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
