How To Get Rid Of Bad Cold/bronchial Bug With Hacking Cough, Tingling And Numbness In Left Arm ?

Over the past two weeks I ve had a bad cold/broncial bug that s been accompanied by a hacking cough, especially at night. I get a couple of these bouts every year. Lately, after a fit of very deep, hacking series of coughs I get a tingling, numbness in my left arm and head/face. Kinda dizzy feeling. On Friday my whole body starting shaking after one of these coughing fits and I fell on the floor. Pretty crazy feelings. The shaking only lasted 4-5 seconds, but it stilled scared the daylights out of me. I m 58, 6ft, 220. Ride my bike all the time, never feel these symtoms except after coughing. What s going on? Thanks

Thanks for query.persistent cough and that too on lying down (nights) needs to be evaluated.consider getting a chest x ray PA view and consult a general physician, he would evaluate respiratory and cardiovascular systems to search for cause of cough.regards
