Hello,

Bumps on posterior part of throat may be due to:

1. Repeated sore throat may cause granules formation on posterior pharynx it is called granular pharyngitis
2. They may be oral candidiasis
3. Tonsilar stones
4. Infectious mononucleosis
5. Post Nasal Drip et cetera

Use salt water gargling and avoid cool drinks and spicy food. Until examination is done, it is difficult to say what it is but nothing to worry.

If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor, he/she will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
