i am a fifteen year old boy. right from childhood i have been suffering from the problem of excessive drooling which continues even now. my teeth are a bit protruding and therefore i am unable to close my mouth with ease. this drooling problem poses a great ploblem for me as it comes out of my mouth
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems that the problem of your drooling seems to be due to difficulty in closing the mouth due to protruding of the teeth.. You should consult an Orthodontist and get evaluated and he can instil an Orthodontic treatment in the form of fixed braces and once your teeth will come into alignment and the lips will become competent the problem of drooling will subside.. As of now you can gargle with mouthwash 2 to 3 times a day and it will reduce your problem as it has a drying effect in mouth.. You can also keep a napkin with you when you are out and keep wiping the saliva to prevent embarrassment..
Hope this information helps..
