Hi,

Your symptoms are suggestive of 'HYPERTENSIVE CRISIS'. As you are already on antihypertensives, I advise you to do some lifestyle modifications, which are the causes for high BP and its symptoms.
- Do YOGA and regular exercises to reduce weight (if you are obese) and relax to keep yourself stress free
- Have a diet with less salt content
- Avoid smoking and alcohol
- Take analgesics-Naproxen+Triptans for headache
- Take plenty of fluid intake
- Regular antihypertensive medications
- Regular monitoring of BP, eye examination, renal function test

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Yogapriya Vasudevan, General & Family Physician
