What Causes Severe Headache Along With Nausea And Jaw Pain?
One tonight - Three episodes in a week of bp of 185-187/98. Get a sudden severe headache, nausea, right jaw in pain. Take bp med lisinopro. When bp goes up I take some by by stolid to try and bring it down. Lowest bp has been around 144. Pulse 48. Bp is still going up and down...just have felt tired all week
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of severe headache along with nausea and jaw pain which seems to be due to increase in blood flow,TMJ dislocation, migraine, sinusitis or condition related to ear such as meniere's disease.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult an oral and maxillofacial surgeon once and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigation full mouth x ray, CT scan, or MRI to confirm the diagnosis. Take a soft diet and avoid excess mouth opening. Avoid going at flashy places. Apply cool compresses. You should do relaxing exercises like meditation and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get well soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
