Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
hey .i know you dont know who i am .but i have a rash on my forearm ,near the crease on the arm ,it went away and then came back when i took a warm shower .tiny red bumps on my skin .itchy . is it allergy or heat rash .ive had it for weeks .nothings working .what do i do .
Hello and welcome to HCM, Red itchy recurrent bumps on the forearm could be due to allergy. Is there any specific condition when bumps appear or time when they appear? Appearance of bumps after shower with hot water suggest allergic reaction against heat. I suggest you to consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment. Red bumps can occur in number of other conditions. A clinical assessment will determine those causes. However, if it turns out to be allergy, avoidance of possible stimulus and anti-histaminic drugs will be required to control the bumps.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
