Hi,

It sounds like you may have developed a muscle knot or trigger point in your gluteal muscles after the fall. These knots can cause discomfort, pain, and stiffness in the surrounding area. Here are a few things you can try to help get rid of the knot:
* Stretching: Perform gentle stretching exercises that target your glutes, such as the pigeon pose or a seated figure four stretch. This can help alleviate tightness and tension in the area.
* Foam rolling: Use a foam roller to apply pressure and massage the affected area. Place the foam roller under your buttock and slowly roll back and forth, focusing on the area where you feel the knot.
* Massage therapy: Consider seeing a massage therapist who specializes in trigger point therapy. They can use specific techniques to help release the knot and relieve tension in the surrounding muscles.
* Heat therapy: Apply heat to the affected area using a warm compress or heating pad. This can help increase blood flow and promote relaxation of the muscles.
* Rest and recovery: Give your body time to rest and recover. Avoid activities that exacerbate the pain and discomfort in the area, and make sure you are getting enough sleep and staying hydrated.

If the knot persists or becomes increasingly painful, it may be best to seek medical advice from a healthcare professional or physical therapist to determine if there are any underlying issues or injuries that need to be addressed.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
