How To Get Rid Of Marks On Face?

Hello, I was suffering from chicken pox since last 20 days now the bristles have shed and there are thousands of marks on my skin. The doctor have suggested me to use diprovate rd is it fine to use it for marks on face? Will it be too harsh for facial skin or it will remove the marks from skin? If it is not the right cream for marks due to chicken pox please suggest me a good cream which can help me to get rid of these marks.
Thankyou

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you are suffering from chicken pox scars since last 20 days which is due to either post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and atrophic scars. Scars could be depressed which will take time to heal, if these are superficial it will resolve its own. Diprovate cream as suggested by your doctor is fine to use for marks on face. I would suggest you to use Kojivit gel which contains a skin lightening agent and helps to reduce it.You can apply tretinoin 0.025% cream over depressed chicken pox scars for collagen remodeling. Visit dermatologist once if symptoms keeps on persisting.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
