How To Get Rid Of My Sinusitis Problem?

Good Evening;
I am Amit gupta from Karnal.I am having serious Pain of forehead since 4 months.I consulted a doctor and he Told me that i am suffering from SINUSITIS problem and the doctor is suggesting to do a Surgery. I am having severe pain .suggest me some ways so that i can get rid of this problem.

Welcome to Healthcaremagic.

I had gone through your question I can understand your concern about your sinusitis.

As per your history it seems to me you are suffering with chronic Sinusitis.

No body must directly opt for surgical procedure before it is confirmed as chronic sinusitis. You must have a CT scan done to place a proper diagnosis.

You need to take a anti biotic course of 10 days. In my clinical practice I usually prescribe Amoxicillin clavonate for ten days, saline nasal drops or even intra nasal corticosteroid for first line management. You can also do same with consultation to your doctor.

You must always have hot steam inhalations twice daily for 10 days.
After that you may go for surgical intervention if these things will not work.
