Hi, I have a bump on my tailbone and I fell racing my bicycle a couple years ago. Recently in the last few months a bump has arised on my tailbone right above my butt crack and I know it is not a cyst because it isn't like a pimple. It feels like it is my bone. Is there anything I can do to help fix this? What should I do? It hurts a lot when hit hard or anything like that. I just want the pain gone.
HI Well come to HCM Chances of coldabscess need to be ruled out, and for that you need to get done some test like CT imaging study, plain x-ray study, routine blood test then and then the nature of lesion would come to know till then if this is paining and having some swelling so this can be treated with Tab Ibuprofen 400 mg three times in day, differential diagnosis would be matter of concern, hope this information helps, have a nice day.
You can do anything by yourself. You should consult with orthopedist as soon as possible. You need to have an X-ray of the tailbone to see what has happened and how to correct the damages.
All the best!
