(Right below it) its swollen full of infection.started like five days ago.its big and it hurts.I had a couple left over bactrim pills but they havent worked for this particular area they work good underarm.what do I need to do to get rid of this boil and to prevent more from coming up? Whats the best soaps and whats the best antibiotic for boils.sure wish someone would do more research on skin and hair follicles. Ty for your time.
Hi. The boils develop due to the blockage of the ducts of the skin glands and accumulated material is then easily prone to be infected.
The best antibiotic is Doxycyclin. You can apply liquid povidone iodine to the affected area to kill the skin bacteria which help for infection to develop.
Get properly diagnosed, get blood sugars done to rule out diabetes, another reason for recurrent infections.
