How do I get rid of severe bed bug bites? I have thrown out all the old bedding, and put bug proof zippered covers on all the new bedding. I sprayed i all the cracks and crevices with bed bug insecticides. I then put diatomaceous earth all around the permitter an caked on mattress and underneath the bed. My itching still persists. I shower often and apply rubbing alcohol, calamine lotion, and I have been using hydrocortisone cream. Tomorrow, I m going to buy some antihistamine tablets. The is no improvement in clusters of bed bug bite. I believe they are even spreading. This has been going on for two weeks since I have eradicated the bed bugs. Is there a secondary infection?
