How To Get Rid Of The Dry Brown Scaly Patches Of Skin On My Stomach And Underarms Which Causes Itching?
Hello I'm Hispanic 5"11 190lbs 28 yr old male and I have a these small dry brown scaly patches of skin on my stomach and close to my underarms they're in small groups...they dont hurt and I do feel like they itch sometimes...not constantly..but I do find myself scratching sometimes..it is really embarrassing and would like some advice on what to do to help me get rid of it. hi dry brown scaly paches can be tinea versicolor which is a fungal infection caused by malessazia furfur.it can be cured by candid tv shampoo 15 min before bath and use of nizral ointment in the night along with flucanazole 150 mg weekly once for 4 weeks .t.versicolor tend to recur a lot

I would keep a possibility of Pityriasis versicolor which is a fungal infection of the skin and commonly gives rise to scaly brown patches on the trunk, shoulders, arms and sometimes neck and face as well.
Treatment is Use of 2% ketoconazole lotion which is applied at the time of taking bath and kept on the skin for 5 minutes, after forming lather. This is repeated for 5 days.
