I have a rash on my back and dr gave me a topical ointment clobetasol propionate.05% and it is not helping. It helped for a while and now its back to driving me crazy. Is this the right treatment. dr says it didnt look like an allergy because it didnt welt, wel its welting now. what do i do
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
Welts are usually related to an allergic reaction. I suggest to continue using Clobetosol cream for local application. I also suggest using an antihistamine such as Loratadine 10 mg to prevent the itching.
Hope my answer was helpful.
