Yes, lifestyle plays an important role. You, being an IT professional , do not have to go through a lot of physical activities throughout the day. Do not worry much.
Actually there is no magic plan to achieve weight reduction , but I can certainly help you out.
Try to maintain a balanced diet with cereals ,
proteins ,vegetables . Even a little oil and fat is also required. Try to eat around 4-5 fruits a day. Keep away from fried food , soft drinks . Have small meals at regular intervals.Drink loads of water. That's all about the diet.
It would be great if you could add to that a bit of physical exercise and cardio workouts like walking and jogging. Walk for at least 40 minutes a day.
Stick to this plan for 6 months. Try it the natural way first. If it does not help ,there are other options like
liposuction , bariatric surgeries(weight reducing surgeries). But every surgery has its own risks. Try first the natural way.
