How To Heal Accidental Hit Mediated Nose Injury With Swollen, Tenderness And Slight Mucus Associated Blood?
Hi I was accidently hit in the nose yesterday and my nose area swelled up as expected. My nose did bleed slightly but I iced it and the swelling went down a little. Today my nose is still very swollen and tender and there is a lingering smell of metal (blood) coming from my mucus whenever I blow my nose. I don't think my nose is broken as I would probably be in more discomfort but sometimes I have sudden sharp pains on one side of my nose running up towards the bridge.
hi, injury to nose can partly damage the mucosa which can result in similar problems. you may need some drugs which reduce inflammation like brufen or diclofenac to fasten the recovery. if you feel watery discharge coming from nose or persistent bleed even after 2 days, you need to consult a ENT surgeon. otherwise, you need not worry, will be fine in a week. hope this helped.
