How To Heal Cut In Throat Quickly?

Hi, my fiancee had an alcohol 2 weeks back and due to hangover he suffered from acidity and breathing problem. Now he is fine but he had got a cut in his throat due to trying hard to vomit in hangover. He took antibiotics on recommendation of doctors. He does gargle n steam but still sometimes pain exggarates in ac as well and today I have given him milk mixed with turmeric. What should I do to heal it quickly?

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have cut type sensation in throat which is mainly because of chronic laryngitis, granular pharyngitis, acid reflux and sinusitis. You need not to worry about it and should take the medications like antibiotics like amoxicillin and painkillers such as Ibuprofen and other medications like decongestants and saline nasal sprays. Along with this you should take antihistamines such as Levocitrazine as well. If it is due to acid reflux this can be managed by proton pump inhibitors like rabeprazole. Avoid hot, sharp and spicy food. Do warm saline gargles. Avoid alcohol and smoke. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined and get lab investigations done to find out exact cause and start treatment as per that. You can take Sinarest as well if it causes further infection.
