Hi,
Welcome to Health Care Magic, thanks for posting your query . I understand your concern.
By your history it looks like you might have injured your
sternum and corresponding attached ribs. Since the impact of the blow to your chest was hard, it might take a few days for the pain to mask away.
Meanwhile i suggest you to get a Chest Xray done to rule out the possibilty of
broken ribs or any damage to the sternum. Do consult an orthopedician after the Xray , so he will be able to evaluate you better and assist you accordingly.
If the pain is unbearable, do take tablet
ibuprofen 200 mg twice a day after food, also applying a
analgesic gel to the area will relieve of pain. But be sure that you do not
massage the area, just gently apply the gel and allow it get absorbed.
Hope this helps , and answers your query satisfactorily .
Do write back to us if you need further assistance .
Take care ,
Wishing you good health .
Regards.
