How To Improve Bone Density While Having Osteoporosis And Hemochromatosis?

I have osteoporosis and hemachromotosis. I have been taking apple cider vinegar with raw honey twice a day in 8 0z of warm water. Also, I take 4 capsules of borage oil (better than fish oil) and 2 capsules of Lactoferrin morning and night. I was told that this would help with my bone density. It did the first year; the second year, my bone density got much worse. I have been using bran, ground flaxseed and tea (one of them at a time) to block the absorption of iron. It has worked, but am I blocking nutrients needed to build my bones? What is the latest improvement for increasing bone density?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The latest molecules for bone density are that of molecules affecting activity of osteoclasts like alendronate or others. However, a detailed evaluation of serum calcium (free portion), parathyroid hormone levels and others are must before deciding the treatment protocols in this issue.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
