Hi,I am Dr. Robert Galamaga (Hematologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 59, female, diabetic 2, 5'5", 180 lbs. and have low white blood counts. My concern is especially at night my skin sticks to itself. I have had bruising on my legs from pulling them apart. Weather doesn't seem to be the issue and neither changing bath gels and sheets. Not sure what else I can do and it isn't going away.
Hi, Thanks for asking. Based on your query, my opinion is as follows. 1. Easy bruising also indicates low platelet count or elderly related skin thinning and vascular damage. 2. Hydration and low nutrition, particularly of Vit A and B-complex appears to be the cause. 3. Take nutritional supplements, and within 15 days, skin change can be noticed. Continue applying moisturizers to improve skin texture. Hope it helps. Any further queries, happy to help again.
