Hi,

Low sperm count can be a contributing factor to infertility. There are several ways to improve sperm count, including:
* Healthy lifestyle: Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is the first step to improving sperm count. This includes eating a balanced diet, getting regular exercise, and avoiding smoking, alcohol, and drug abuse.
* Avoiding heat exposure: High temperatures can negatively impact sperm production. It's important to avoid prolonged exposure to high temperatures, such as hot tubs, saunas, and tight underwear.
* Supplements: Several supplements have been shown to improve sperm count, including CoQ10, zinc, and vitamin C. However, it's important to talk to a doctor before taking any supplements.
* Medications: In some cases, medications can help improve sperm count. Your doctor may prescribe medications such as clomiphene citrate, human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG), or letrozole.
* Surgery: Surgery may be an option for men with varicoceles or other structural issues that affect sperm production.

In addition to improving sperm count, it's important to have regular sexual intercourse during the fertile window, which is typically around ovulation. If you and your partner have been trying to conceive for more than a year without success, it's recommended that you seek the advice of a fertility specialist.
