Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a low blood pressure. Always averaging 90/ 60. My thyroid levels are all normal but still feeling tired and no energy. Always thirsty and urinate frequent. I am currently on armour 75mg and on bio identical hormones, estrodial and progesterone. I am 36 years old and have taken fludrocortisone in the past for low aldosterone. What can I take thats natural to raise my aldosterone levels?
Have your aldosterone level checked before? This depends on the cause of low aldosterone level. In most cases of hypo aldosteronism, we will need lifelong supplementation with Fludrocortisone. There are no natural ways of cure.
Also, as you have low thyroid hormone levels also, this might suggest dysfunction of pituitary gland, for which we needs further investigations like MRI brain. Kindly discuss with your doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam TK
