How To Increase Weight In A Baby Suffering From Indigestion, Loose Motion?

Good morning Doctor, I am Rakesh from India. I have 6 months old daughter and her weight is 5kg. Please advice how can I increase her weight. She has digest and loose motion issues. We give her ORS water and breast feeding only. And please prescribe medicines for cough , cold, fever and loose motion to her. Every time her stool color keep changing. Thanks a lot.

I really appreciate your concern, let inform you that try to avoid giving unnecessary medicine in this age group, the baby has got the normal weight and no need to worry about this, neither it is to be tried no medicine is there which could increase the weight of baby, no need to give ors if no dehydration is there, passing to stool three to four time in day is normal one, if the cough and cold condition is allergic one then it can not be treated because it is self limiting it can only be treated when infection is proved (Bacterial ) I would suggest to consult the good pediatrician for better and complete advise but no need to conscious hope this information helps
