I am a 19 years old girl,. I have had problems in putting on weight for over 6-7 years now. my weight is 45kgs and height is 5.6 inches. I am a vegetarian and I also try avoiding milk products, is there any other healthy substitute to put on weight? I would like to gain 10 kgs weight.
hi It is always good to add weight by gradual build up over a few months -like adding 2kg every month. If you have no health issues for example, thyroid, liver or diabetes, bowel condition then you may follow a dietic and exercise regime. For this, you may meet a dietician and a physician to assess your liver, thyroid status,if all okay-healthy diet regimes with more of butter, soybeans, nuts, vegetarian sources of proteins and high caloric diet may be advised by a dietician depending on your food habits, tolerance, digestive capacities.appetite stimulators may be advised by a physician like cyproheptadine, multivitamin syrups with some marginal, alcohol percentage, etc best wishes,
