General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Regesterone you took is a hormonal drug progesterone. You have to stop the drug after some days of taking it. Then you may get a period within three days from stopping it. If that is not working then you should get a consultation with a gynecologist and ultrasound to rule out conditions like PCOD. Thyroid profile should be looked for also as hypothyroidism also cause menstrual irregularities. In such case thyroxine supplementation will normalize that.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
