General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi, I understand your concern. I pill is an emergency contraceptive. It acts if used within 72 hours of sex You had used after 2 months .. Has she confirmed pregnancy by pregnancy test? If not please do it. - I pill will not help if she is pregnant. Consult a gynecologist. After examination doctor will advise for medical abortion or surgical MTP as per suitable for your friend. - BUt if the pregnancy is not there, wait for 15 days to get bleeding/ consult doctor for further management. thanks. thanks.
