Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i had sex with my gf in april 10. her period date is may1, she had period last at april 1st. still she didn n get period. we had done pregnancy test, but she is not pregnant. how to get period immediately? is there any medicine to get immediate period?
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. It appears from your description that you had intercourse with your partner during the fertile period, which gives more probability for her to get pregnant. Kindly take another urine pregnancy test after 1 week from her due date. Also, it would be advisable to ensure that she is not pregnant by undertaking an ultrasound scan. Once it is confirmed that she is not pregnant, periods can be induced by medication. Kindly consult Gynecologist with the report for further evaluation and appropriate management. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best. Regards, Dr.Ashakiran.S., MBBS., MD.
