Even if some others try, result seldom are positive. Apprehend your grandson of the situation and once he become aware of his obsessive behavior, he shall try to change. At least he learns to tackle the behavior. That attitude is the first step. A good psychological counselor should help in achieving this. The Cognitive Behavior Therapy (a form of psychotherapy) works wonders.
