How To Know When Or If There Is A Saturation Point Where Supplementation Has To Be Reduced?

I am currently taking 50 mG of Iodorol and have immediately felt an elevation of body temperature (which feels better) and tightening sensations in the thyroid area. My question is, how will I know when or if there is a saturation point where supplementation may be reduced to say 25 mG?

Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hi,
Welcome to HCM. I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.

It all depends on your thyroid function tests. If thyroid function tests are normal, you can start decreasing iodorol dose. This will work only with iodine deficiency hypothyroidism.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help
With warm regards,
