Weight loss can be achieved by lifestyle changes which include diet changes and increased activity. At least 150 mins a week of activity is recommended, this should be a combination of aerobic exercise and strength training.
The 150 mins divided into 5, 30 mins episodes.
In terms of diet, there are different diet plans available and you should choose the one that you are most likely to stick to. In general sodas (unless diet sodas) and juices should be avoided because they are all sugar- water should be used instead.
Look at your portions of salads and vegetables- these should be increased and your other portions decreased.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Michelle Gibson James,
