Hi.my daughter is 2 years old.from 6 ir 7 months dark spots appear below her knes and some times on the knees and after 2 or three days they disappear.she had her blood tests 2 months back and her iron level was a bit high. Could u plz tell why is it so and how can we get rid of them?
Dear which test showed that she is having iron in blood??Compared to adults, infants and newborns have very high iron levels. These should not be mistaken for iron overload.
But rarely juvenile hemochromatosis, and thalassemia may present iron overload. Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Take care
