It is usually treated with medications like beta blockers, calcium channel blockers, anti-arrhythmic drugs, etcetera. But, before deciding the best treatment options, it is important performing some tests to investigate for the possible causes underlying tachycardia: - A resting ECG and a cardiac ultrasound - Thyroid hormone levels - An ambulatory 24-48 hours ECG monitoring to examine your heart rhythm trend and exclude possible cardiac arrhythmia -Blood electrolytes - Complete blood count.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
