How To Manage Orthostatic Hypotension In A Type 2 Diabetic With Pacemaker And Midodrine Offering No Relief?

Hi, I ve been diagnosed with Orthostatic Hypotension. I have a pacemaker and take Midodrine 3 times a day @ .5mg. I also wear compression hose. So far none of this is helping. Do you have any suggestions? I am having a hard time dealing with this. Also, I m diabetic type 2. thanks

Hi you should drink lot of oral fluid like water with salt ,coconut water. I also suggest you not to stand up suddenly from sleeping position as it may exaggerate fall in bp. Take care.
