How To Manage A Bowel Movement After A Bladder And Rectal Lift?
I am 3 days in recovery from a vaginal hysterectimy a bladder and rectal lift. I am stitched up on the outside between my vagina and rectum. I am feeling like a bowl movement but unable to. I am wondering if an enema is ok? I am scared to tear the stitches and I am bleeding a little more. Thank you, Suzanne Darling
Take stool softener, fluids, fiber but no surgery at least 3 weeks (Colace surface etc.). Drink fluids and fibers, this will more likely soften your stools.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
