hi doctor, my mum had dierria and was vominting and also her blood volum went down to 3,5, she,s just recive a blood transfusion yesterday and have not eaten or drank any liquid for 3days now, can you advice me on how to get her to drink, thank you, kate

I really appreciate your concern, it is all depends upon the underlying cause of the disease she has, if the patient is ill then appetite being lost even the thrust too, so first thing is to take care of illness once it is cures then patient takes regular diet and drink well, major illness demands great medical care, hope this information helps.
