Diabetologist 's  Response
Dear sir i can understand your concern
As per you history patient is having foot infection.
for a successful eradication of infection strict diabetes control is very important.
in my opinion than PPBS its better to depend on seven point glucose estimation.
i suggest yo to check her sugars before and 2 hrs after taking food for all the three major meals of the day and once a week during 3am early morning.
Any time after food the sugar value shoud be around 140--150 and befor food values should be 90--110.
At 3 am sugar should be around 90-110.
kindly provide this information for treating doc to decide on medications.
regards
