Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all it's sad to know what your son had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, chest pain whether less likely to be cardiac should still receive EKG and if normal chest x-ray to rule out pneumothorax or chest infection as extension of tuberculosis. Uric acid levels can be done as levels may increase with ATT. Detailed examination needs to be done by his primary care physician. Meanwhile OTC analgesics like acetaminophen can be of help.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
