How To Overcome Complications While Performing D&C Procedure?

I went for a D&C January and the doctor couldn t do it, because my hole to my birth canal is so tiny. So yesterday I went back for the D&C surgery... again I was put to sleep and put on dilation meds but I couldn t dilate at all, so the procedure want a success. Why is this and why is my cervix so hard?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* The primary way is the cervical dilatation (if not satisfied with plastic bouge, the surgeon or gynec should go for metal dilator as hegar or else).

It is the opening of the cervical canal satisfactorily, that will help to perform the D&C procedure ahead to cure you.

If possible, your Ultrasound,HSG or other reports would help me to evaluate other underlying pathology of cervical stenosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
