Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I think im very over stressed... ive done 3 different stress tests online and they all come out with a point scale of over 500.... I think the main cause is my work. recently (in the last few month) got moved to a new boss who i do not get along with, im being bounced around on shifts, my new boss is scaling my quality extremly hard and marking me down on things he should not be, they are forcing us to work more hours than we can handle, and they will not put me on a set schedual. If i work too late at night (usually past 10-11pm) i find i cant sleep good because when i get home and eat then go to bed its usually 1-2am and then i wake up at 8am to start my day. What am i supposed to do. At my work they can use a medical reason to make a set schedual but i can never get to see my dr because of my work. HELP!!!
I went through your details. I suggest you not to worry much. As you rightly mentioned, you stress related problems are due to your job atmosphere. There are two options available for you. Either change your job or adjust with the situation. Easily said, but you can do it easily. If you change job, you may have to settle for lesser salary. Accept that because your health is more important, not salary.
Being passionate with the job helps you to enjoy your work and reduce your stress level. Adjustment starts with being passionate with your occupation.
Psychotherapy techniques should suit your requirement. If you require more of my help in this aspect, Please post a direct question to me in this URL. http://goo.gl/aYW2pR. Make sure that you include every minute details possible. I shall prescribe the needed psychotherapy techniques.
Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications. Good luck.
